Our Story
At the heart of everything we do is a simple yet powerful mission: to transform the NHS workforce through meaningful innovation, collaboration, and digital excellence. Established as a pioneering initiative within Surrey Heartlands, Neuron emerged from a bold vision—to create an integrated, digitally empowered workforce that thrives on flexibility, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Starting with a small but dedicated team, we recognised the challenges NHS organisations faced: fragmented systems, overwhelming manual processes, and limited tools for effective workforce planning and development. Driven by the core principles of simplifying, standardising, automating, and consolidating, we set out to change the way NHS Trusts manage and support their people.
Through collaborative initiatives such as eRostering and
Flexi-Bank, we've developed scalable solutions that enable healthcare organisations to optimise their resources, enhance employee experiences, and ultimately deliver better patient care.
Today, Neuron has grown into a dynamic and diverse organisation, partnering with NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems across the South East and beyond.
